Try Rahal Paint protection. They do excellent work.

Absolutely love it. More civilized than my GTS on the street. Love the fixed carbon racing seats. The cup2r are super slippery in weather below 50 degrees so not advisable. But when they are warm, the grip is spectacular. As for the PPF, fully wrapped in stealth and then ceramic coated. They did and excellent job!

Cool. Is it a Dreyer & Reinbold car? Or elsewhere? Maybe will see you sometime - north side? ...
Surely you are not driving it in this weather, last week when in 50s/ 60s? I don’t think the salt is washed off the roads yet.

Yup D&R North. Yeah drove the car last week but also washed it too so no salt on the car.

Anyone have a good CA recommendation at Dreyer and Reinbold North? In the past I've always ended up going with national forum sponsors and doing either European or Performance Center Deliveries.

This will be my first BMW and we have technically not even met in person yet but my CA from Dreyer & Reinbold is Ashley Broscoe and she has been really helpful so far. I've changed my order a couple of times and she made the changes in a timely fashion. I was referred to her by a friend of mine who works at a different dealership in the area. After a short wait, I received my allocation in January for a February build and my car is in the paint booth currently so I'm thinking it will be here in April. I had originally ordered one through BMW of Lafayette back in October 2021 but they have yet to receive any allocations (still waiting on the Jahre too) and I was first in line for an Xdrive. I finally cancelled that order a few weeks ago.

Do you know if Rahal removed your roundels when they did the PPF? I’m thinking of having them do my bumper and hood (maybe mirrors).

They can if you want them too.

Hey Indiana BMW aficionados:

I'll likely be at the University of Indiana (Bloomington) for work for a few days in July, likely July 17th - July 20th.

And I think I'll be driving out to Indiana (in my G82), so I can make a few stops along the way to see some family and friends.

I understand that there are some nice driver-focused roads outside of Bloomington, one route specifically called the Indiana Nürburgring. I plan to drive this 5-hour loop one day for sure.

Any advice or tips?

Plus, I will try to time my visit to drive back home through Pittsburgh to attend this wonderful, annual event in Pittsburgh: https://pvgp.org/calendar/

..which is capped off with an awesome Saturday car show in the middle of a large Pittsburgh park sprawled across a golf course, complete with a vintage car show race going on in the center of the park and car show.

10 years removed from Indiana, but the good roads haven't moved. Top picks 1) SR135 south from Nashville to Freetown. 2) SR45 from Beanblossom (north of Nashville) into Bloomington. There are a variety of entertaining county roads in Brown County (and south of Bedford, depending on how far afield you choose to go). I used to organize a driving tour in southern Indiana which went as far as the Ohio River .. good memories.
