Doesn't he state that the auto would likely do around 330km/hr? If so, that's around 205mph. Again, neither of these cars (manual or auto) are stock…..

I know its the autobahn but there are too many variables that can't be controlled for these types of runs.

Badass.

But this still gives me anxiety. One tire blowout away from pure havoc.

Or a little bump in the road that causes just a touch of extra lift on the front end and away you go.

Nice.. but worthless for a majority of people that will never see a track or don't live near the Black Forest …
More or less just for bragging rights, unless you have a desire to be thrown in jail and have that beautiful car towed/impounded!

I don't disagree but the same could be said about going 80MPH on the freeway even.

Yes, obviously the less speed the better chance of recovery and not completely obliterating your car, yourself, and others around you.

The tires, brakes, brake fluid, suspension are not designed for those speeds.

A blow out at those speed will be fatal, that's just irresponsible on public streets even if it's Autobhan.

Cars that go stock 200 mph have so much more than a higher HP/Tq, the entire car is developed to go those speeds safely. You can't tune one part and ignore the rest.

I think biggest issue is the lack of aero. The reason this car can hit 200mph is there's not much downforce. With significant downforce, you would need more power.

IME high-speed runs (140+) feel much safer and controlled in cars with cars with aero. My F80 easily had power to reach 155mph but felt pretty sketchy. I imagine it's even sketchier at 200.
