I went 172 in mine. They say the limit to the auto, is the transmission. Still need to tap into that theoretical 184mph limit.

Are you saying the auto will be slower than the manual counterpart at top speed due to transmission?

Amazing but I seriously doubt this car was tested and designed for those type of speeds.

I'd feel better going 200 in this than a Model S plaid, the G80 has much better suspension, steering and brakes!

Not at all. I'm saying I'd read that the transmission either couldn't handle the power, or is limited by BMW to keep it from overheating and eating itself. Looking for the reference, now.

Ahh got it. I saw an M3 competition hitting 193 mph while the manual did 197mph. Was wondering if transmission was the limiting factor.

I wonder how quickly it could hit 200mph with a tune or a tune + race gas.

Ah, nice video. I hadn't seen that one. Looks like people are posting about him saying there was a limiter on the car. The stock M Drivers Package limiter is said to be 184. I've only been 172 in mine, so, I haven't been able to see where it actually goes. I remember AutoTop doing a video of a stock one hitting 185. In the video description, is states 6,4 100-200. not super impressive, really. Lots of tuned cars in the low 6s to mid 5s 60-130, which is a slower calculation.

I'm not proud to say, but I have the m driver's package and according to the car it read 168. It was very stable and still pulling well.

Hit 202 in my hellcat and it felt extremely safe. I have hit 158 in the M3 at least 7-8 times already.. My car has the governor. GPS stated 157. And it was boringly slow.
