The HUD is great. Doesn't play nicely with polarized sunglasses but nothing new there. I didn't spend much time looking at the cockpit so can't really give a perspective there.
The exercises were on a short track so there wasn't much shifting going on. Others who have had these out on larger tracks can likely comment better. Lots of fun though!

Performance maneuvers consisted of ABS breaking at different speeds and at steering angle. Accident avoidance at varying speeds (a fun one to throw the car without applying the breaks) followed by ABS stopping. Timed autocross lapping. Fun way to spend a half day with some well credentialed racing instructors who were happy to talk shop in between seat time.
