Anyone compared it with an i4 M50 yet, I know the M50 is not a true M car but wondering if someone drove the M3/M4 and i4 M50.

I drove both recently, while i couldn't go full throttle in the m3 the i4 was impressive... the handling on the other hand was the opposite, the m3 was impressive while in the i4 you definitely felt the weight.
If you want an ev then go for the i4, but if you're pondering between those two then the m3 is "only" 8k more if you pile on the options to the i4(without the carbon exterior bits).

The M3/4 is amazing in any degree of corners, unbelievable at what speed you can approach any corner

Garage List
i4 M50's suspension is a lot softer, even in sport plus. It's a nice daily and it's fast as expected from a performance electric car, but by NO means a replacement for an M3 - not even close.

I test drove an i4 M50 today.

• Goes like hell — the 50-100 on this thing is
• Handling felt meh, esp. in the twisties
• Suspension IS soft
• Very heavy, ponderous — so NOT chuckable or taut like a 3-series
• Preferred D vs. B mode for transmission, even with Sport Boost
(the re-gen braking in B feels invasive, takes too much control away)
• Not a fan of the flush door handles
• iDrive 8 not as bad in-person, still miss the conventional dash
• A lot of the Teutonic joy of driving has been sucked out — it's cold, soulless and disconnected
(I guess the M is for Miele, not Motorsport)

Verdict:
The Ultimate Appliance left me feeling lukewarm.
Even with gas at $6 a pop, I need some ICE for my drink.
And based on my recent experience at the M Track Day in Sonoma, I'll have a round of G80 soon.
