Great technical review by Misha Charoudin - G82 M4 manual on the Nurburgring

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Might just be the most informative "review"/commentary on G8X that I've seen so far. It's a bit long and gets in depth in some cool technical details - sorry it's not a bite size influencer review. I hope some of you watch it and get a better understanding of the car

This is a great video on the M3/M4, IMO.

They spend a lot of time talking about the car and weigh it on balancing scales.

So where's the scene where he lifts the front wheel as per the YouTube cover photo?

Every other review has gone on about how good it turns in, it must be a one off. But damn germans can drive.

Someone can correct me, but there is a guy on the Ring who takes these really cool shots and you buy them. So chances are thats what youre seeing, the paid for cool shots.

You can also get them of your car if you drove the Ring too, just depends how you take the line in that corner. This is a common thing actually if you go there, to buy those shots as you notice they can come out pretty special (especially if you are driving the lap in anger).

Probably Misha was not "filmed" driving the car live but just photographed, most of his vids are all in car footage where he talks.

Sometimes he films when he is himself by side of the track. The best one to me was filming the Alfa F1 guys (Kimi) driving for a commercial. Driving SLOW. And then you watched the video and it looks like he is just flying 300kmh. Pretty funny.

Its just warming up for it's time to shine. Hopefully it doesn't rust away. Seriously every video on the ring I see there is a PT cruiser anymore. There must a PTC cult.

Yah, I am sure, because when I watched the video I didn't see any head bumps that suggested the front end lifted. However, being able to talk seamlessly and drive on that death trap of a track at pace is still impressive. I spent a lot of time in Germany the standard for driving is much higher then it is here in USA or even worse NJ. I do think it costs like 5K to get you drivers license there though, and they make you take wild courses.

He obviously is very familiar with this track & comfortable in having a full conversation at triple digit speeds all day long. Sheer driving pleasure was a confidence inspiring line I heard him say!

This video just sold me on the carbon exterior package. The protective mesh on those front channels (and removable vent cover for the brakes) is what I wanted to see as mitigation for road debris damage. I had a rock take out an A/C condenser once, so I'm a little paranoid about that. Dammit. BRB, updating build plan.

No wonder he's so comfortable at the Ring & it seemed like he was merely going to the store to pick up groceries in the way he was calmly talking.

He lives in Germany now though.

You don't say... even blindfolded he knows that long track XD

When i went to the ring i was lucky enough to have him as my lap instructor... Seriously the instructor is the best "car insurance" when you're new to this road / track.

This is the same guy who spent multiple videos bitching about the M3/M4 and it's styling and weight. Even going to the point together with his buddy Robert to bullying a BMW employee who was in charge of weight for the G8X. Like expected, all the complaining was for nothing...

Maybe he did , on the Nordschleife you can exit the track at Adenau and do some groceries and get back on the track to resume your lap.
