Thanks, That is exciting. What dictates who is getting the chips installed at the factory vs at the port. Is it just a supply problem?

Thanks, That is exciting. What dictates who is getting the chips installed at the factory vs at the port. Is it just a supply problem?

BTW, it might be too early to tell if you have any RAM or CAM issues. Do you know the status of you car right now?

I don't want to give your false hopes but I think the best timing to use the tool is when you are in Baltimore already. Also, try the calling the BMW Genius line 1 (844) 443-6487 to clarify if you have any stop sales.

Hi Team;
It seems Baltimore is started moving. I called BMW Genius today and figured out my car is released for shipment to the dealer and estimated dealer date by 11/18. Finger crossed 🤞 Also the Genius guy told me that this week they seem to see cars are being fixed and getting released.
My is 39 week this is Oct 06. So hopefully we all will get our car soon. Good luck you all and I will keep updating my progress (again touchwood &#129310

I just got off the phone with genius and got a dud. Sounded like I woke him up and he wasn't much help at all.

BMW should include new features on their models with all the things going around with delivery -

free of charge new feature
1. Anxiety attack - days of waiting, hoping to see some changes on status but nothing new for days after days.
2. Anger management - your SA or Genius tells you nothing more than what you already know or at worse, don't have a clue.
3. Patience Extreme - you learn to adapt current situation and wanting to accept reality. Awesome feature for those who has no patience. This particular feature will improve your overall reality check.

All comes free for a limited time, while pandemic lasts. Hurry and get your free feature while it last,, won't come back......
