AWRON Exhaust Valve Controller - BMW G8X M4

Anyone have a link to the install instructions for the plug and play version?

Steps are somewhat identical to the Standard harness, except there are no wires run to the DME - they instead route directly towards the rear and plug directly into the exhaust valve actuators at the mufflers. Pretty self explanatory once you have everything.

Been pretty busy at the shop here but we'll be doing a DIY soon, as time allows.

Does this mean that you need to further installation done in the front of the vehicle? Just install on the back / under the car like the other valve controllers?

The installation is done in the same location - passenger footwell. Then, instead of running wires through the firewall to splice into the DME harness, you run a harness back to the valves and use OEM style plugs. That's what it means. The other valve "controllers" are dumb in that they do not work though the CANBUS and cannot be actuated using engine data (ie RPM, throttle position). The others are basically a light clapper with a swap-meet remote. If you're younger than Gen X or live in Netherlands the last sentence won't make sense.
