Looks like the mainifest was finally posted to the site. I was able to confirm that my car is, indeed, on the Asian Captain and is expected to be at the NY/NJ port on 3/17.

Sorry for everyone who is still stuck at the port. I assure you that I usually do not experience this kind of luck. |

Well, my car flipped to "In transit" 4 days ago (and continues to show that), but when I called the Genius yesterday to find the name of the vessel, they said that their system still showed it at port. So who knows what is going on.

Mine was finished and dispatched on 2/21, arrived at port or compound on 2/24, and no change until this Monday when My Garage states "In Transit". BMW Genius originally told me it had left the port but had no boat assignment listed yet. Yesterday (Tuesday), someone else at BMW Genius stated it hadn't departed but was moved to the port and stated I should contact the dealer to see if they had more info.
Dealer told me it changed from "at the port" to 195 (Exit from Port or Compound). He stated there's a staging area where they're held before being moved to the port, which is apparently where mine is now. Heading to NYC, and I believe a WW ship is moving tomorrow (3/7), so hopefully something will update. |

Mine flipped to in transit on Monday. I called Genius today and they thought it was on the move but didn’t know the boat. If your cars were at the port before 3/2 and are heading to the east coast, you can try using this BOL on the WW site to search for your VIN: AEA40601

BMW cannot, as of yet, tell me what ship I am on. As we both got to the port on Feb 23 and flipped to "in transit" at the same time and are roughly going to the same place I have to think I am on the Asian Captain too. Going to Rallye in Westbury.

Scratch that. Shipping website says that car is on the boat; Genius may not be such a genius after all. Last edited by Cloudplay; 03-06-2024 at 02:48 PM.. |
