Hey all,

Anyone’s car headed to NYC?

I see the soonest ship with a stop in NYC is Wallenius Willhelmsen, “Asian Empire” on the 28th arriving in NY on June 8th.

Is this the soonest ship or does anyone know of another one that I might’ve missed?

Yeah I don't think K-Line goes to NY. Just WW. They have 4 ROROs between 5/28 and 6/7 headed to NYC, which I assume would clear out most of the stock at port now.

Do all cars leave out of Bremerhaven or is it specific to the factory in which your car is built? I thought I saw a post somewhere a few weeks back but can't seem to find it again.

Week 19 update......still in QC since 5/8

I am not frustrated as I have been very lucky to get this far this fast. I called the Genius and they told me to check back monday. Anyone else in the same boat or no boat at all actually? We are fortunate, a close friend of mine ordered a Porsche 718 Spider and was told it could take 2 years

That sucks. I’m with you. Been in QC since 5/6. Hopefully be out on Monday. My research has found if you get picked for the QC cavity search it’s 8-10 days-ish. Hopefully I’ll be out early next week and be waiting at the port for a ride.

HA I went to my Porsche dealer in January to order a 718 Spyder. The CA said 2 years and he said even thats a lie. So I went straight to BMW and here we are waiting at the port.

He will be waiting a LOT longer than 2 years....literally forever. GT4/Spyder production ends for good in a few weeks. They are not returning for MY2024, which starts in June.

The GT4RS and Spyder RS will be made for one more year.

Hate to burst your bubble, but you probably won't make it out that quickly. I've been waiting a the port since 4/27 (week 15 build, plus 2 weeks of QC purgatory), hoping to maybe make one of the two ships on Tuesday, or perhaps Arc Defender on Saturday.

If you’re headed to Galveston, Drive Green Highway leaves the 29th and gets in a week earlier than Defender.
