My car is on the same ship.. any idea how long it will be at the hueneme port before it gets to Steve Thomas In Camarillo.. ??? I am super excited!!!
This will be my first MT car. I hope the power won’t disappointment me as I am coming from an F90. But who need all that power anyway. I seldom use it on the M5.
Base M3
frozen dark Grey
Ceramic Brakes
Etc etc etc
GOOD LUCK everyone!!! We made it..

Anyone have an idea of how long this next step takes? My dealer is in Modesto.

I also have a X7 on a train right now and it is taking forever.

I'm not sure about cars that arrive via train, but for the ones that are getting off this boat, it will take 1-3 days to process the car through customs/VPC (assuming no stop sales), and another few days to get on a truck to be delivered to your dealer. If you are local in the SoCal area, the car should be at your dealer within 1-2 days after it's loaded on a truck.

Just called BMW Genius, they said my car is scheduled to be picked up from the VPC on 2/23, and delivered to the dealer on 2/24. (Dealer is in San Diego). Looks like I'll be able to take delivery very soon!

I wonder how long it takes to reach Colorado once assigned a carrier.

I assume that'd take a 2-4 days in transit, since it's not as close. Try giving Genius a call, they should be able to provide you with an accurate timeline if your car is already at the VPC.

We're so close!!

Important question for the group! Does anyone have any mods lined up already?

The dealership will be doing PPF and Glasscoat before it ships out to me but I've been accumulating quite a few boxes in my garage throughout my wait . So far:

R44 Carbon Front Splitter
R44 Carbon Ducts
R44 Ducktail Spoiler
R44 Carbon Side Skirts
Brooklyn Grey Side Reflector Inserts
BMS Cold Air Intake
13mm Front and Rear Wheel Spacers

Waiting to see the clearance with spacers, splitter, and skirts before I pull the trigger on some springs. Salt Lake has some very large speed bumps that I would hate to scrape on

Next mod before springs will likely be the Valvetronic midpipe which from what I can tell (and from the description on the Valvetronic website) will not throw a CEL and does not require a tune to use.

What does everyone else have lined up???

Wow! That's alot of aftermarket bits lined up already, definitely post some photos when you get them on.

For me, I just have:
- A few sets of spaces (12mm - 15mm) ready, depending on what tires I get, going to test fit them all to get the best stance
- KW HAS Kit

Will probably pick up some carbon pieces here and there down the line as well!

Is there an estimate on how long it takes to get a truck assigned - my M3CX will come north to Portland OR.

I think 1-3 days according to the pinned post, but you're better off emailing or calling Genius because they can provide you with exact dates.
