Things just keep getting more interesting. I asked my CA when my car would be here this week and he says he doesn’t think it will… I said you told me it was released to the carrier in the 11th. He said it was but they are just delivering cars now that we’re released on the 2nd. The delays from every aspect of the process do not end. Working on month 11 now and really losing excitement steam.

Don't lose hope. I was feeling pretty crappy about it too, but they weren't lying. This car is LEGIT. I've been taking it way easy, can't get any calls back from PPF places. Almost a week old and hasn't seen the freeway yet.

Agreed. Im actually picking it up tonight and will post pics after! Have a PPF appt Wednesday

EXCELLENT!! That tartufo looks good! I just hit 100 miles today, terrified to drive it until it gets PPF.

Just got a little chip in my headlight from being in the vicinity of a concrete truck Its really small so hoping the PPF guys can handle it.

I am still waiting for mine! It arrived on the Rhea Leader cargo ship last Thursday in Port Hueneme and is destined for BMW Seattle. MyGarage still says "At the Port", which it has said since the car rolled off the production line lol.

Hoping to take delivery in the next week or two but reading some of the posts here about VPC wait times I am starting to think otherwise...


UPDATE 6/23: I called BMW Genius and they told me my car arrived at Port Hueneme 6/16 and was released by VPC on 6/17. Apparently it has been waiting since then for a driver to take it up the coast to the dealership.

Not sure if they are waiting for other cars going to the same area or what the hold up is. I know there is a driver shortage so that is probably part of it but hopefully it gets going soon. I am getting itchy...

FreshlySnipes , that's good to hear and sounds like your car didn't have any stop sales. Hopefully, you take delivery soon. Post pics when you get it!
