Not sure where you get this idea. Only reason they got away is there was no police out and about.

If the police catch you doing this in Europe, you will also get fined or jailed. And in some countries, the fines can be absolutely monstrous.

Lmao Europe leads the world in number of speed cameras and strictest speeding laws. Radar detectors are also illegal in most of EU including France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Ireland, Poland, Belgium, Scotland, Hungary, Estonia, and the Ukraine! But sure. Europe is more free.

I have driven like this with my old F80 in winter, it is a blast, similar curvy road up a hill to a ski resort before it opened....BUT....If you have to stop on a hill --rock in the road, snow-plow, car stopped asking for directions in front of you, you are done.

You cannot start again w/o momentum up a hill. You have to either reverse which is very dangerous on a curvy tight mountain road, or wait until someone is willing to give you a push.

This is with great snow tires, sandbags in the trunk for weight. In a flat area you can always find a way to get going, IMO, just reverse until you find a good spot, or put some sand down under the car or blanket to just get going.

Many years ago, the Audi club sponsored an ice driving school in Austria led by Audi team drivers. We all drove individual S4 avants. It was awesome, so they got kind of mad. I ended up in a snowbank a few times. Driving with a team driver, though was just utterly amazing, like all of you, I think I’m pretty good. These guys were beyond that my little girl is going to Dr. schools in about 12 years winter and summer.

European Freedom is a bit of a broad term some countries yes...but get caught with catless down pipes in germany see what happens compared to cars in texas or florida driving around with turbos out the hood 😂

He's got some mods, but yes I like the way the M3 sounds. If I were carving canyons in the GT3, I'm sure I would appreciate the sound.

Radar detectors are NOT Illegal in California. Not worth buying since, LE vehicles are Calibrated for catching speeders.

My Uniden has saved me from a multitude of tickets in the Bay Area/socal so IMO totally worth it. Probably wouldn’t have a license anymore if not for that handy little device.

well liking how it sounds is one thing but no way it sounds better but that’s subjective or is it when it comes to a gt3

Possibly. Watch minute 18. It sounds one dimensional to my ears - same mechanical noise, just louder… but could be the gopro not picking it up quite right. I am sure the GT3 sounds incredible all out and has more nuance. Look, I’ll find any excuse not to want to buy a GT3.

I think the white G80 looks pretty good there, nice spec. I like how it is all dirty, black and white contrasts well, etc. Id probably buy it in that spec if I ever did, just for the crazy design any color is too much. White is perfect.

While fun vid, it made me think in a different light of rich counts from Sweden, Germany, Italy etc driving Alfa Romeos 2800s Touring and BMW 328 race cars in Mille Miglia in like 1939-1940s. I used to think how crazy, war is growing around them and here they are, racing cars on roads. Same exact feeling I got over watching this but now I understand how it can actually be and its not strange. Its normal.

America has its own problems. They've got millions of illegals crossing the border every year. Violent crime is out of control. Property crime has become so bad that stores are closing due to rampant shoplifting. Half of their population doesn't work and is on food stamps.
