Excited to finally be able to share some pictures of the car after it had a full one step paint correction and 5 year ceramic coating done by my local detailer. I placed the order through Hudson valley BMW mid-September and everything went fairly smoothly and I was able to pick the car up from the dealer mid-December. At that point I already had a bunch of stuff ready to go on the car and I have done everything aesthetically and still have a MAD resonated mid-pipe, JB4, and Mishimoto intake that I may or may not install. For now the vehicle is in storage until the weather gets warmer and the roads get cleaner.

Mods:
RWCarbon RWS CF spoiler
CF OEM style side skirts
CF OEM style rear diffuser & side extensions
CF mirror caps
CF fender "vent" badge covers
CF GT3? style front grill
CF front brake ducts
CF MPerformance style lip
iND paint-matched front reflectors
Storm Motorwerks titanium color shift knob
H&R Sport lowering springs
MAD wheel spacers (15F / 13R)
Tommy L Garage mudflaps
SST exhaust controller
Sto N Sho removable front plate bracket
Bimmercode

All installation of parts were done by me, except the detail work of course, over the past 6 weeks since I took delivery.

Thank you to BimmerPost members for all of the useful help and photos to stare at while planning the "OEM+" build.

😄 Thank you! If you saw how much salt and nastiness were on the roads right now you would understand. If we get some rain sometime in the near future that washes them off a bit and then I will certainly take it out.

Looks amazing! Are you planning on keeping the chrome badges or changing them to black ones?

Oh, I know. Bit pricey for 4 of them, but I'm sure I'll be doing it at some point.

Great Spec and build!

How do you like the Storm Motorwerks shifter vs stock? Same for the H&R Springs? And any reason you went with H&R vs AST?

Shift knob is great, 5 minute install. Looks much sportier than the stock one that looks like it is from your grandpa's BMW. Has a bit of weight, shifting feels good, just feels cold when temps drop!

Went with H&R after reading reviews and knowing that it is a quality company that has been around for a long time. I think it's not much stiffer than stock at all and it still rides really well. I can't even tell when you switch between regular soft suspension and sport mode, I think it is not a whole lot stiffer when you adjust the dampening. Either way, I've done some two or three hour drives with it and was totally comfortable. I also have yet to scrape anywhere even with the front lip.

I didn't install yet, but through private messages with guys that have it, with valves closed there is no drone, even with the non-resonated version.

Love the car and the plate! The car has a great stance too! I have been locked in on IOMG for my order for a while, but was getting cold feet with my build coming up. Seeing your car swung me back "home". Where did you get the carbon from?

Thank you! I had the same thing happen during my order. Most all carbon is from a seller on eBay motors and the quality is excellent. If you search there is a post in the cosmetic section of the forum where I linked to their products. Another user I'm here at recommended them to me and I'm glad you did because the parts look amazing, came within two weeks of ordering, and I'll fit very well.
