Getting ready to wrap my Black Sapphire Metallic G82 and can't decide between Glossy or Stealth. Please vote your favorite and choose: yes(glossy) / no (stealth) and post pictures.

I'd say go for it! I think the G8x platform is one where the frozen/stealth really shines and stands out due to all of the cars body lines. I think it makes the front end a lot more aggressive as well.

I think ppf is a must. Therefore if I had black sapphire I would definitely do stealth vs clear ppf.
To me it’s the only color that looks good stealth ppf’d |

I’m an Alpine White owner who elected full Stealth PPF. It changes the car, in my opinion, and had no desire to do it initially until they showed me a “swatch” on the car. It adds just enough to warrant a second glance, without screaming for attention. lol
I voted for Stealth. |

Tried a test piece of stealth on the BSM. It’s so cool how when the light hits it the red speckles from the sapphire shine through. Based on everyone’s votes I think I’m going to go with the stealth PPF.

I think you’re making the right choice. When you get the entire car wrapped, I think it’s going to be gorgeous.

Receiving my Alpha N Hood this week from the paint shop. All of my cosmetic work will be finally be done. Goal is to have the PPF started before Christmas and done by the second week of January.
Will definitely be going with stealth on the black paint and gloss on the carbon fiber. |

Just make sure the paint is cured enough before putting the stealth ppf on it. I want to paint my hood too and then ppf it as well, I just don't feel like waiting lol

I’m hoping 2-3 weeks is enough. Paint was completed a days ago. I’m dropping the car off right before Christmas but realistically they will not start till around the 2nd of January. So that would leave from the 12th of December to the 2nd of January for the paint to cure. Hopefully that’s enough time.

Stealth PPF was designed specifically for Frozen paints because regular (shiny) PPF would make it shiny instead of Frozen. It just so happens when you put it on gloss, it comes out matte as well.

My car was originally Brooklyn Grey but I wanted a change to make the car look a bit more aggressive while also showcasing the lines better since Grey tends to blend to a degree. I picked Satin Black and my mouth literally dropped when I picked my car up.
Satin or Frozen really ties the car together so well. |
