Just found out this morning my M3 has started Production !!!

Driven by a 70 year old woman with handicap placards. I assume it was her husbands...never seen that before

Yep, 100% go with Dave. Great dude and he does a fantastic job. Repaired mine twice now and once on my wife’s car. Can’t even tell they were curbed.

I was wondering how it was coming along for you. Do you know what ship it is scheduled for yet?

Mine made big strides this morning. Before I left at 4:30 I checked and it was in the paint booth, get home 5 hours later and it's entering the assembly line. Just logged in again and it is being assembled. I was just telling a buddy that if the stars align I could possibly see the car late August. I will be interested in your timeline from dispatched from factory to on the ship. Tracking the ship is cool (to me anyway), when I ordered my M340i I watched the ship go through the Panama Canal on a live cam. Fun stuff.

So it’s a loaded question, I called bmw and they said once it’s at the port it could take two to three or even four weeks. Now once my was dispatched from the factory it took about 4 day to show at the port.

Indeed, hence "on the ship" in my post. Last time my car was there for about 2 weeks before getting on a ship. It is a pretty excruciating time because you just don't know until you know... Once on the ship it is easier to dial in an approximate delivery date.
