Verde Ermes/Tartufo G81 M3 Touring

Unlike in other countries Tarturfo leather was not available as an option in the UK. I used to dream about having a Green/Tan BMW and especially since the Touring was released.

As fate would have it I was invited to the BMW x GQ Christmas party in 2022 and the BMW UK product manager was sat opposite me. Myself and the BMW guest next to me then spent the next few hours asking (in amongst normal conversation) why it was not available and how it should be available.

A few days later I received a message that it would be opened up on the UK system and I could place an order for the car!

And here it is! The only problem I have know is that I absolutely love our grey G81 M3 and how all the changes have made it what it is today including the carbon roof. It has also been 3D scanned for a rather large game franchise that will be released this year and I don't want to miss the marketing opportunities this will bring. This Verde car also turned up SUPER earlier than I was expecting.

Stick or twist?

Skyscraper Grey M3 Touring for reference

The carbon roof is undoubtedly cool, but a green / tan wagon M3 is.....a green / tan wagon M3!!

What was done can be re-done. Good opportunity to go in a slightly different direction? Your skyscraper car is very CS-like with the red accents. Green / tan is gentleman spec. Maybe an opportunity to do a modded car with a more modest look? Sleeper? I know, may not generate as much traffic or interest that way. Hard to answer this without knowing your budget and how much you already have in the gray car and need to recover.

But green and tan....

Looks like I'll have to modify the green one and see where I'm at!

Can't wait to see what mods you put on this Verde Ernes Touring !! Such an amazing spec.

I wish we could have two tone seats (black and tartufo) and get the buckets also like the M8 comp can have in Canada.

I tried REALLY hard to get Tartufo buckets but couldn't make it happen. If I keep the car I will get some carbon buckets and re-trim them.

Holy hell…
We just had another post of Verde Ermes/Ivory combo, and now this…
Amazing color indeed… I’m now regretting never exploring any shade of green when I was deciding for an individual color.

AMAZING!

New spec is too good! My opinion is, keep what you truly desire. Mod the green one!

To each their own, I would hate it if the tartufo seats were two-tone.

Wow! I think this is one of the best colors for the G80. This green just highlights the various curves and arches in the body.

Just sucks we can’t get the touring.

Gorgeous spec indeed. That's the perfect interior color to properly accent the exterior color.

I just posted over on your YT channel but this build is just amazing. I have a Dravit Grey M4 Comp X-Drive with Tartufo and carbon pack. Those wheels, DRLs, CSL grill pinstriping, would look just amazing on my car. Would you sell the CSL grill with that pinstriping added as an option?

This is a great build. I’ve always loved the green / brown combo (especially Tartufo as it’s also what I have ) and looks just as spectacular on the M3 touring.
