Love it BTW so nice !!!
I think I read somewhere that the wagon body style can’t be certified in US due to crash standards. Combine that with the fact that SUVs are top sellers and it makes sense from a business stand point why it’s not coming.

I think it's less crash standards (seeing as how G81 is the same chassis) and more a business decision by BMW NA of whether it would be profitable to offer an additional G8x trim.

Why is the Bowers & Wilkins available for the M5/8, but not for the M3/4? That’s an option I couldn’t live without. I’ve spent time in a 2023 X5 loaner with the Harmon Kardon stereo, and it doesn’t even compare to the Bowers. Why they wouldn’t make it available for the legendary M3/4 escapes me. Thank you for reading!

Here’s the article I read about it. At the end of the day, you’re right. It’s all about whether bmw can justify the extra cost

Love this.

I have a G80 in Toronto Red and im looking to get a G81. Theres next to no TR G81s in the UK. its all grey, black or silver colours with the odd IOMG thrown in.

Absolutely love TR. Its a great contrast to the Black/Carbon detailing.

Nice one!
