Just my two cents.
I think Voldemort Blue is the worst

As an owner of a MB M2 CS, I can confidently say this a color that needs to be seen in person to appreciate. It’s stunning, especially in natural sun light when you can see the metallic flake…and even though I think it looks good in pics, I think they do it no justice and think folks need to see it in the flesh to make a real judgment. It’s also car specific - I personally think it looked horrible on the X1, meh on the Z4…but epic on the M2.

Always get a kick out of people expressing color opinions as “objective fact” though - like arguing with my two year old about blue being “better” than pink! Get the color YOU want on a car YOU love, and F whatever anyone else says (except for that orange on orange G8x someone recently posted haha)

As a San Marino Blue owner, I'm positive I see the exact shade on Honda Accords around my town.

I bet you would like it in marina bay blue. I’m not a blue person, but man is that color awesome. It’s an M8 standard color and I see it from time to time in South Florida.

I find the convertibles - with the top down - to be the most stylish of all BMW’s current line-up, whether older 2, or current 4 and 8 Series. But then I would say that …

I'm surprised how much hate Misano Blue gets here. I haven't noticed this with the other similar blue shades (Santorini, Voodoo, Mexico, Gentian Blue etc.). Not sure why that is, as I don't really see Misano as inferior compared to those mentioned (of course, it's always a matter of personal taste).

I hear you there - I never understood it, especially since it is a shade off from one of the most iconic BMW colors of all time (pic below telling)…it’s a very dynamic color, and it requires certain lines to look perfect (love it on M2, not so much X1), so maybe that has something to do with it…but polarizing colors are just that, polarizing! You don’t see people hating on white or black, but also don’t see people breaking their necks on them either!

Blueaty is in the eye of the beholder

All the BMW blues can and should be appreciated. Doesn’t mean it’s the one for you.

And if you ever find yourself in the blue Bimmer club, you have arrived.

Love that colour combo.

Two people on my street have Misano Blue cars.

An X2 (previous gen) and a M2 Comp (previous gen). In my view, Misano Blue look better "in person" than in the pics, especially in the sun; when freshly washed.

Misano Blue looks different than the RAV 4, Subaru and CRV blue colours.

Best on small sport cars (not an elegant colour) - It would be too much on an X5, 7 series or X7.

I SO wish they'd tone down the grilles....there was a time, probably about 10 years ago, when I was thought the BMW's were stunning....I'm not sure why they've gone so over the top, I think they've lost the plot, in all honesty 😬

My g80 is prettier than any of my previous M3’s (e46,e93,f80). Go figure! The interiors are also a huge step up. But hey if you want to live in the past, there are many used BMW’s for sale.

As long as you love the newer designs, that's great that they work for you. No offence intended or implied 👍
