While these cars have received rave reviews for their performance, the sound is a muffled one leaving the driver to wonder if they are really driving a BMW M-car. In order to solve this, Active Autowerke has created a full exhaust system for the G80/G82 which comprises a choice of three mid-pipes (this one, the single or our x-pipe), a rear axle-back valved exhaust and a set of GESI catted downpipes. Together, this remake of the stock exhaust results in a G80/G82 with an amazing sound. You will feel like you are driving a true M-car again.

wait... the description says "2 cuts needed"... is there a version where no cutting is necessary?

if i install this together with the AA rear, will it still require cutting?

The only reason you need to cut is to fit the midpipe to the axle back portion of the OEM exhaust. If you get the AA rear, you don't have to make any cuts.

Really wish there were videos of this midpipe combined with an otherwise stock exhaust. Seems like a no brainer since the midpipe is being sold by itself.

Currently axle back and single midpipe, we will be switching to axle back and equal length

The midpipe has not been released yet; finding clips will not be easy.

We will have some once we receive the midpipe, and I'm sure that come April, once customers start receiving their midpipes, a lot more clips will be posted.
