The car looks fabulous!

How many are in the FB group so far? I don't do FB but I would like to be part of any get-together. I might even be able to get a story out of it for the Roundel...

Thank you very much. I absolutely love her. It is so much more refined than the F80 I had.

I got to meet two G80 owners at this past poker run at BMW Southpoint. Was a good time!

Sorry to hear you don't have FB. As of now we have 10 members and I can absolutely make sure you're in the loop. I did pull the trigger and became a BMW CCA member for the Tarheel Chapter. Would be awesome to see some pics of our cars in the roundel.

I want to put together a meet and ride at a local Sheetz soon. I know of a good country route. Waiting for my break in service and a nice weekend in the forecast. I will keep you posted.

Hello there fellow NC RTP Bimmers, just found this thread and decided to poke my head in. Currently have a 22 M340i X and has been itching to switch to M3CX, for those who made the switch, I am sure it's totally worth it, my main concern is the ride quality as a daily, is it nice enough to daily it? This will be my only car with 2 kiddos in the back. and I am totally down for a meet and ride!

I don't use my M3CX as a daily, but I'd say the ride isn't horrible. I have the M performance HAS and it still isn't too rough of a ride in the sportiest settings.

My previous was an F80 which was also on springs. That ride was way rougher and I did daily that with kids. I also had a 340i before stepping up to the F80 M3.

If I had the opportunity to do it again. I would, in a heartbeat! I would have made no changes to the options I went with either. Hope that helps.

Ditto. Mine is not a daily and I’m also on MPHAS. I’d have zero issues with my 23 M3XC being a daily. Now, it doesn’t eat the road up like my X5 (2018 35 xDrive) but for the car it is, it’s very tame in comfort mode. Hope you pull the trigger.

Welcome! I have an M4, same ride as the M3, and I'm in Cary too. PM me if you'd like to meet up and go for a ride.

Sorry, no, I don't let people drive my car, but if you think being a passenger is good enough, it will give you a feel for the ride and noise quality.

Congratulations, one step closer. The wait is long and grueling, but worth it in the end. Took me 14 months before I received my car.

I pick up my White w/red interior 2022 M4CX at Southpoint Monday morning. Just requested to join the FB group. Looking forward to wrenching on the car and coming to C&C. I do live in Chapin SC but have a kid at NC State. Have had 2019 Comp M5, 2018 M2, 2008 M3.

Who has done Carbon Kidney grill's? I like the V1 look over the CS one. But the structure of the CS is probably better being the one piece design. If anyone has experience with them let me know. I saw a few cars in the Burgers n Bimmers post at NRP which have the V1 design grill i'm looking to get. Which brand did you go with and who was your source for the grill ? Thanks in advance. Oh I did the MAD midpipe and it sounds great. JB4 and Fuel Kit going on tonight or tomorrow.

Mad Midpipe. Slightly more sound. Nothing too much at all. A lot less clutter under there.

Gratz on the midpipe! I'm sure it sounds good. You'll have to post a video to the group on FB. Would love to hear it.

As far as the V1, I'd call NRP some of those G8X's are theirs. I'm sure they can point you in the right direction, get it ordered, and put on for a reasonable price.

I'll personally go with the CS style when I update the grill. As of now, just working on the break in service lol.
