Ecu unlock

7-8 days max is what we're seeing when we send Femto the ECU's (Just had 3 customers from Florida, 2 from North East) sent and received 7 days

If they say not to expect your ECU until 9/1/22 are they doing it for free? That's like 3 weeks wait time.

I mean yea should've sent it myself to be honest. But nothing i can do now i only went with them cuz i had heard good things and they offered overnight shipping.
But no i will not be tuning with them. Im doing BM3.

Unlocking options:
1. Regular unlock - you can upload calibration (ONLY!) area using femto obd flasher beta, mgflasher, mhd and bm3
2. Custom unlock - requires preloading of custom code for each of the flashers (if applicable, such as torque limiter removal, map switching etc). Currently we can preload mgflasher custom code (app adjustable torque limiter patch) and mhd (torque limiter removal patch), bm3 ( torque limiter removal).
3. Remote engine start fix (EUR 100 extra) - remote engine start feature will work after tuning as usual ONLY if it was enabled and working before.
For option *2* you need to decide which flasher are you going to use, because their custom code can't be re-used for each other and can be uploaded only while your ECU is at our labs.
Please consult with flasher of your choice about your exact VIN support and their custom code availability, since we can't track their changes.

Just got my ecu back and flash bm3. My m1 and m2 buttons not working and remote start. Anyone have these issue and re-enable them. I requested to maintain my remote start so wondering if I have to enable it.

That happened to me. Have a bit of a drive around and then try reprogramming them.

You had the remote start not working as well. How long did it take until you can program them.

Did u do a custom unlock?

I guess so because I sent them a code.

My issue has been solved. The problem was plug 4 going into the ecu wasn't seated properly. This took some hassle to try and seat it until it clips in. Had to wiggle it and push down hard until it clicked. All my settings are working now. Hope this helps anyone in the future.

BTW it has been great working directly with Femto and if anyone has questions you can message me. Turn around time was 12 days for me but I'm guessing it would be alot quicker for someone else if you mail it on Monday you most likely wait less. I waited longer because DHL does not work on the weekends so your package will just sit until the following Monday.

I can vouch for using jairo at orlando autowerks. We have sent 4 ecu's out now to be unlocked via him and its been a 7-8 day process every time.

I have no horse in this race, but from what I'm reading you started blowing them up within 72 hours of them receiving your ECU. Patience is a virtue.
