Would be grateful if you could share your timeline (from “Dispatched from Factory” onwards). Anything you remember off the top of your head would be helpful to us mortals with our cars still sitting somewhere in Germany…

Anyone know the typical timeline from Galveston Port to a Houston dealer? My car just landed in Galveston this morning...really crossing my fingers to take delivery this week.

They also seem to be having issues with updating the tracking info once it arrives. They either update it like an hour before it shows up to the dealer or it never updates at all and then shows up to the dealer out of nowhere.

So, basically, the stop sale took about 10 days to clear. Still, seems your build took a long time between production date and arriving to Galveston. Did you have other delays in QC, or just a long wait at the port in Germany?

Awesome! Please share pictures? What dealership are you working with? I’m going through Advantage BMW.

Ah! Thought you were in Houston. The user city doesn’t display in the mobile version of the forum (which I’ve been mostly using). Good luck with your car!

M3 landed in Galveston on the 1st of Feb, got confirmation that it will get on the trailer on the 5th and be at the dealer on the 8th (did not change to in transit as of this posting). I guess I got lucky and did not have a stop sale, my SA told me they have a solution for it ready at hand so they can fix them fast. Anyone else have their M3 land on the 1st?

For those looking for information on their M3 being picked up from the port, here is an update on my experience so far. Car got dispatched to the transporter today and the status changed immediately to "in transit". It is estimated for it to arrive tomorrow to Classic BMW in Plano, TX. I was told the transporter usually makes stops at other dealers along the way, so people should be getting their cars tomorrow (fingers crossed) if they were on the ship that landed on the 1st of Feb.

I feel you brother, should be soon. Car should 'arrive' today, but honestly my hopes are low. Even though the drive from Galveston to Dallas is not that far, I feel like something will slow it down. I tried finding who the carrier is but was not successful. At first I thought it was United Road, but it did not seem like they picked up any cars from Galveston. It sucks not having access to information.
