Here’s a video of the supersprint to get a good comparison.

The guys from Valvetronic seem to think that their single midpipe is going to be less raspy than an H or X pipe that you get on the other designs so it is a pretty significant design difference having the single pipe. I doubt you'd go too far wrong with either.

If you're in a rush to acquire one that might be a factor too as they're are backlogs of orders.

When I saw this video I had to have this mid pipe but seeing other videos I realized the sound was misleading

This video gives you a better idea of how the mid pipe actually sounds. Big difference in sound from both videos but same mid pipe

With cat-less down pipes are we going to get a engine light on the dash?
Has anyone installed them with no warning lights
Do we need tuners to be able to code it out

To mee too. But....here in Europe (as yours I think) we have the problem of the OPF anyway.

I think that the stock US spec sound really good.

Same principal as before. If you remove primary Cats it will throw CEL. You’ll need Jb4 or a tune to fully code out the light.

The PSI midpipe it’s not bad, now check with your local shops to see if they can recreate the same look for a lower price.

Agreed, I think the US car (which I have) is pretty decent sounding! I would like a touch more noise when the wife and baby are not in the car. I bought a valve controller too which may even be enough on its own. If the Valvetronic is too much I won't have any issue selling it for what I paid given the demand

I've got to say that most of these options sound great...this Milltek also sounds decent, and other than the mid-pipe options, I think my preference right now is definitely the Remus system.

Milltek:

Deikin exhaust is a piece of jewellery, available in stainless or titanium.

I'm struggling to tell the difference in these YT videos the sound difference between the PSI and Valvetronic options. I agree with most here that spending $~15k on an exhaust is kinda crazy, unless money is just no object...that and I like the look of the stock back box/tips and honestly think both the PSI and Valvetronic solutions sound amazing.

As these are both similarly priced, is there a reason at least two of you are going with the the Valvetronic over the PSI? Again, they both sound good, but there must be a reason you are going former vs. latter.

Also, for what it's worth, I much prefer a deeper tone than not. I can't tell which one is deeper, but also worth mentioning I hope to avoid highway drone-noise.

Appreciate any insight on what made any/all of you make a decision here. Thanks!
I was also a toss-up between PSI and VT. In the end I went with VT as I felt like the tone was changed and particularly at higher revs it seems to really sing. PSI is louder, but same tone (to my ears at least). I felt like the (modest) change in tone from VT makes it a bit more unique. I'm sure both would be awesome though.

Thanks, and yes, that is what I'm feeling from everyone's opinion and my ears on all these video comparisons. At this point im leaning towards either VT or the Remus…I love the Remus sound in the video but wish I could hear all of these in person.

Im planning to go with the VT mid pipe. See if thats enough for my liking. If not I will most likely pair it with the Remus axle back.

Be careful with Remus Race version. It's lovely after 3000 rpm , but between 2000 and 3000 rpm the drone noise is just too much .

It sounds good but I really wish you didn't need to cut the stock exhaust or had an option not to. I'm waiting for more videos. Price is good and sounds good and made in America.

For $700 more you can get the r44 which is full titanium and includes secondary cat delete so you can just bolt it on easily. I'm not sure if it sounds better there's no good videos or reviews. If someone has one please post. Also r44 seems like a new company with questionable customer service from what I've seen here. Also no idea if they make the exhaust in UK or outsource and slap a label on them.

It's the cheapest titanium, valvetronic pipes don't fit and rust.Akrapovic is like $10,000, more than double the price.

Its a personal decision, top three right now are the active autowerke, valvetronic and AWE Tuning.
