Awesome! Same color combo. I test drove a while ago. Of course, it was a 3-pedal, but, the test drive helped me decide to order one. The SSG one I test drove had orange buckets. Nice seats, just not for me. Alas, I spec’d my own.
I hope all you week 29’ers share some good stories over time, and not become strangers! East/West/South/North…lots of enthusiasts sharing ideas/trips/experiences. Perhaps there’ll be a huge meet somewhere, and some of us get to meet up! Cheers! |

Consider it part of the break in for the G80. Mine did that as well.

I actually saw it being reported in the news that the backup in the Panama Canal is causing global supply chain issues. Something about a sideways ship?

I've tracked a few ships (for my own deliveries and others) and it's pretty common for a ship to get into a holding pattern outside a choke point for 12-36 hours depending. |

Took delivery today! Skyscraper gray / full tartufo / black wheels. Will post pics tomorrow. This machine is incredible! And it looks way more impressive in person than in any video or pictures I’ve seen. Also won the tire lottery with Michelin.

Congrats, though! I detail my own cars, and this time, I'm thinkin' about either Pinnacle (https://www.autogeek.net/pbl-leather-balm.html) or Griot's garage leather care (https://www.autogeek.net/griots-leather-care.html) products. |

Look, “ceramic coating” is the hot buzzword, and it’s an area of MASSIVE profits. That is not a coating that is regarded. (Or even known) in the detailing industry. Will it do SOMETHING? Sure. Is it worth more than $100. Nope At a detailer, the cost for coating isn’t the coating product or the labor to install. It’s the paint correction before hand. Your dealer isn’t going to do this. That’s rid of the scratches (they are there in a new car) and gives that super deep shine. If you don’t want to pay that, spend less than $200 on Ammo Reflex Pro from Larry Kosilla at Ammo and apply yourself. Or support Matt at Obsessed Garage and get CSL / EXO combo for same price. It’s SUPER easy. |

You need a good leather specific cleaner too. What you have listed is just for moisturizing and protecting. Suggest Leather Masters or Colourlock soft cleaners. IMO sticking with a brand that just specializes in leather care (unlike Griot's) is the way to go. I have a 2014 Cayenne with light (Umber) leather and it still looks really good despite being the kid mobile for 10 years and 123k miles. |

Looks like black 826Ms are getting Michelins and bi-color 826Ms are getting Pirellis.
Bummer for me, but super excited to take delivery at the Performance Center on 09/18! H&R Sport lowering springs, Dinan spacers, Valvetronic equal length single midpipe, SST valve controller, and IND painted reflectors being installed 09/19. PPF and ceramic coating being installed on 09/21. Pinnacle ceramic window tint the day after.
