This makes me want to get a ragtop, and I dont even like them. I would do it in Black, because this thing is sexxy as hell. Perfect interior combination. The only thing I would add, is carbon buckets, and carbon ceramic brakes, to just give it that extra oomph.

I think the convertibles across the range are the most stylish, distinctive and photogenic of all the current BMW models. The now defunct M235i/M240i, the 4 and M4 and the 8 convertibles just look so in tune with the bodywork styling - the lines flow in just the right way.

Why do people that don't like convertibles feel obligated to tell everyone they don't like convertibles? I think the coupe and sedan look like 💩, but I never feel the need to tell everyone this I look at it and move one, no one cares

Because it's an even higher compliment to the owner. To find something attractive that one wouldn't usually find attractive is saying a lot. No?
If you prefer convertibles, complimenting a convertible isn't really much of a compliment. If one doesn't usually like convertibles, then sees one and says, "WOW!", that's saying something.

It doesn't but you'd be surprised how well carbon sits with black, if you really wanted it black we have customers that get the products painted.

100% me right here. I’m also not typically a fan of convertibles and I’ve seen a couple of G83s in person at my local dealership. However I would take this exact set up in a heartbeat. It just looks so clean.
