Last Sunday evening, after I'd already driven the car a couple of times earlier in the day without any issues whatsoever, I started the engine and got the drivetrain message below.

Just like the message says, the drive power seemed inhibited. In addition, the car felt like it was unstable and shaky. But I was able to drive back home just fine.

Since then, the message has disappeared and the car feels normal.

Has anyone had this happen to their G80/82?

I had something like that (can't recall the exact message) thrown a few months back while fooling around in a snowy/icy parking lot. It went away after shutting off the car and then restarting and never came back. I chalked it up to the car getting confused by some sensor readings.

Sensor? It's under warranty let the dealer handle it

I had this message come up a few months ago. Same symptoms. Dropped it off at the dealer and they said it was a spark plug. Haven't seen the message since.

Had this on my 5 and took it to the dealer, it turned out to be bad spark plugs.
