I'll confirm on my end as well - I'm probably getting the run around and I'm not surprised. Thanks for sharing that calculator.

Here is the quote I received from BMW North Scottsdale. They forgot to add in GAP - this is Select for 5 years. $0 out of pocket.

This seems high...

Every car I've ever bought that had special dealer financing the dealer initially quoted a way higher number and acted surprised and had to "research and confirm" the special rate when I called them out on it. I assume it is a standard operating procedure for most dealers

On the phone they told me .9% on the select but weren't 100% sure, but then when it came to signing it they said 1.9% on select and .9% was only on the regular. This was with excellent credit

I've always been told. I've done Select at least 6 times.

Anyone have any thoughts on the pricing sheet I posted? Assuming 0.9% the payment drops to about $1,040 a month - $0 down.

Doesn't seem awful now but not sure how I can negotiate if they are firm at MSRP?

I'm on the website - not mobile.

Is there an easy way to post a screenshot? The file I'm trying to upload is a PDF

Ah this could be it. I'm not sure you can even upload PDFs. I'd just take a screenshot of the relevant pages and attach the images.

Dealer confirmed price is updated to $1,041 with the 0.9% APR - I just don't have the new price sheet yet. This doesn't include GAP

If you're getting MSRP in this market, that's pretty good. I'm not sure about AZ, but cars are selling above MSRP here currently.

Still waiting on my order I placed 3/26/21 but I stumbled on an M3C coming to a local dealer which is the identical build I spec'd. Only difference was this one is with 825 orbits instead of 826 blacks. (Big difference but if I could get the car now, I'd consider).

For shits and giggles, I reached out to the local dealer and told him my price (base MF, discount, total out of pocket, etc). Called me back 10 minutes later...$10k over sticker.

Not that I'm surprised in my market and with the tight constraints right now, but I'll stick with my 7% off deal I have and wait for my allocation.

Anyways, if anyone wants a BG/fiona M3C with exec package, 825M orbit grey wheels, CF exterior package, CF interior trim, parking assist, shadowline & shadowline lights, PM me and I'll give you the dealer info if you are dying for that build and want to pay a stupid premium.

Yeah - that's kind of what I figured. I actually received an identical price sheet from a different dealer as well.

This is basically a 'take it or leave it' scenario.

I'm in northern NJ and inquired about a m4 that's been sitting for almost two months now. The salesman first tried to get me for $750 off and 1.9% on select. I called him about about 0.9 being available and he told me it was 1.9% for this month which is BS. He then offered me .9% and I said I would think about it because I was pissed that he was trying to play games. Long story short, he later tried to offer me $1000 off and reduced the payment by $27/month and the math didn't add up. I didn't respond but anyone with a brain could figure out that he tried to bait me with the payment but most likely raised the residual on the select to make up for it. Make sure all the info these guys are giving is consistent because if the last 10 posts are any indication, they're all trying to play games with us right now.

Found a dealer that has an M4 comp that was driven by their VP of sales and has about 950 miles on it. They also ensured me he's an experienced M driver....right...

Their initial offer to me was 6% off MSRP plus loyalty. I consider this a used car even though technically nobody ever owned it. Going to haggle a bit and see where this goes.

That doesn't add up. Seems like the price with $20k down. That's cheaper than a lease. Is it 60 months?

60 x $1040 a month is only $62,400 approx ?

Plus a $29505 balloon is $91905. Versus an out-the-door cash price of $88304. Sounds right.

No - this is with $0 down. I even have the updated price sheet which shows .09% as the APR.

And yeah - it is cheaper than a lease from what I can gather but on the lease quote I received I didn't negotiate MF so I'm sure they used something marked up. I was quoted $1,238 on a 36 / 12 lease with $4,500 out of pocket

It's not impossible to pay less than MSRP but it's somewhat difficult. If you emailed all the dealers in the Western US (I have a list - let me know if want it ) you could find someone to sell you a car for less than MSRP. But is that worth your time? This isn't an "ask 3 dealers, get a discount" situation yet. This is more like "ask 30 dealers, get a discount."

One thing I am surprised by on your order sheet is there are no incentives/rebates listed. Do you qualify for any of the following?
  • If you own a BMW or Mini now, you can get a $500 loyalty credit.
  • If you are/were in the military or have a USAA or PenFed relationship you can get a $500 credit (or a $2500 credit if you pay cash).
  • If you work for a big corporation (see a list here) you can probably get a $500 credit.
  • If you've attended an M Track Day or Ultimate Drive Event and received an "OL" code you can get a $500-$1000 credit.
  • If you're a recent college graduate you can get a $1000 credit.
  • If you are handicapped and need to install adaptive equipment you can get a $2500 credit.
  • If you've been a BMWCCA member for at least 6 months you can get a $500 rebate (redeemed via BMWCCA after the sale).

Also, in Arizona, if you trade in a vehicle it reduces the amount of sales tax you owe on the new vehicle. Do you have something to trade in and can you get the dealer to pay you as much as a third-party like Carmax, Carvana, Vroom or Shift?
