5k for ceramic from BMW???
Trying to buy a 2023 m3. They are forcing me to pay $5k for a ceramic package that I absolutely do not think is reasonable to pay for ? Any one have thoughts on this ?

If any PPF comes with it, it could be reasonable. I was just quoted $2,200 for full front PPF, $700 for rockers, and $1,700 for ceramic.

Easier to think of it as a $5k markup with ceramic thrown in. Which may be reasonable or not for a M3 on the lot depending on where you think this car market is headed.
You can rest assured though that it'll be a complete hack job done by some no-name detailer working out of a van or a porter in the back. Full front end ppf with entire car coated would be less at a reputable high-end dealer. Based on how badly you want the car and how little you are willing to wait for a MSRP allocation, I'd make a MSRP offer and hope to settle on a $3-4k ADM sans garbage dealer ceramic job.

Stealership making extra profit. All that is. Standard ceramic is around 1500-2k.

That's dangerously close to what I paid a very reputable shop for full body stealth PPF, window tint, and a ceramic coat on top of the PPF. Yikes.

That's crazy. I paid $4400 for full front clip PPF including headlights, mirrors, a pillars, rockers and full ceramic inside and out including wheels. That was at a reputable shop that has been around for 20+ years here in North Jersey. They did an excellent job. $5k for ceramic alone is an absolute rip.
