Had transmission issues at 3,xxx miles that persisted till they caved and replaced the whole transmission at 39,000 miles...and then the new one started doing it within 1k miles. Apparently I was something of a focal point for quite a few vehicles - they made it into a star case, whole bunch of others started chiming in with the same experience, they looked into it, replicated, and authorized transmission replacements on Durangos, Jeeps, Rams, and I forget what else that were all using the same transmission / engine combo.
