Without making any judgements about a car with camo, I will say this grille looks 10x better than the 4 series grille. There is no border so it will look just a bit smaller and cleaner. The grilles also have a body color division without any sensor hardware in the middle like the X5 or 5 series.

If I'm spending a large amount of money on a car, it needs to both drive well and look reasonably good. A year later after countless renders, spy pictures, and seeing the base G22, I still haven't and won't.
I think by your choice of car it's clear you only care about how it looks.

haha, jk, sorta.

Having owned 2 E92 M3's, i do miss the instant throttle response of the S65 and exhaust note.
It was special.

People now are complaining about how this car looks, yeah it'll be less attractive than the car it replaces for sure.
With modern emissions regulations, it's a pipe dream to think that they could make a mass produced high performance car without a turbo engine for the global market. American pushrod V8s are probably the only way to do it, but there is no way they could sell those cars in certain markets and the performance characteristics would not match with a European performance car.

You missed the point

The S65 sounds better and has better throttle response, with 8 individual throttle bodies, no turbo lag and no need for fake sound in the cabin.

Those criticism were and are legitimate!

Now the main criticism is the new grills look hideous, maybe so modern regulations require those grills!

Front still looks like crap.

If the rumored CSL is all that and more I might ignore the looks. Or if they backtrack and change the grills on the LCI.

Even though I find the M440i repulsive I actually don't mind the M3 or M4.

The sedan always looks better, regardless of the generation. I personally can't wait to see this car in person and drive it.

By all means, if you only care primarily about the way it drives then more power to you!

I (and many others on here) just happen to value both looks and performance.

I'm really liking the new design; especially the side skirts. I think it'll be a stellar looking car especially with some mods. Still wish the hoff kink was still there though.

How the heck can a country with a front plate requirement design a front that really looks like crap with a front plate. If I'm honnest, the front looks horrible, but I might have gotten past that if you could get AWD with 6MT.

I must say, due to the wider bodylines the grilles don't offend as much as they do on the skinny body normal 4er.

Interesting! I did say I didn't like it at first but I will say it has sort of grown on me a tad.

Still much prefer the M2C design which appealed to me from the get - go... always prefer a design that captivates you instantly over, "growing" on you over time.

You guys are delusional.
Dream about your value increase on a mass produced car with 500 different versions... even used m4CS with 4k miles are available around 80 grand and those were “limited”
