Trying to say something nice but I'm struggling for kind words... Not as nauseating as the 4 series front end, but still a very unattractive, non-cohesive design throughout.

Perhaps the finished product (individual color or all-black with M performance bits) won't look as putrid? (maybe there's hope for an LCI with the CS model down the road). I like the wheels though. That's about the best I can do...

I could be wrong but I don't think these are production wheels. These look to be 666M wheels used for the mules.

Agreed. This is always the argument that I never get.
Why do we need to accept this and have it grow on us?

Don't get me wrong, BMW was one of the best manufacturers with very little hiccups up to about 2018 in my opinion.
Now this new guy is changing things up to the point that BMW is unrecognizable.

I think it's time we vote with our wallets and move away "for now". Show them what they did to this once iconic brand is dead wrong.

anyone notice that the new turn signal is now the outer drl? I much prefer the eyebrow turn signal. the same applies for the LCI 5 series

They aren't 666Ms. The pattern is different and seems to more concaved.

Wheels are similar to the F80/82/83 ZCP 666M. Just need some good ole elbow grease to clean 🧽 😊

I am so happy about the manual at launch that I do not really care about the aesthetics....that being said, this looks pretty good to me. It looks better to me than initial impressions, just my $.02.

Eyebrow blinker looks sleek and gives the slightly scrunched/aggressive look. The icon LCI lights hit the sweet spot with the half corona rings and eyebrow. It will be hard to see the blinkers on the G8X when you're gawking and gagging at the tombstone grilles.

I owned numerous M cars and this is the first time a M model does not directly appeal to me. Brightly disappointed in the design queues, hopefully the LCI or Competition model will come with a different grill design.
