This is what i'm think too! I see some photos with the standard all black wheels and while sometimes I love it, other times I wonder if there's not enough shine, which you get with the bi-color. I'm just wondering how much different itll be to keep looking clean between both

Everyone has an opinion, but I went to the 825M's Bi-color. To me the black wheels just get lost. Black calipers look too plain and red ones a little too much red. My opinion of course.

I was thinking I may do something down the road like the Satin Aurum (gold) finish wheels.

It's funny you mention this because as I was looking at more TR M3 photos, I did find that the black 826M wheels got lost too, almost like there aren't any wheels. Which is originally why I switched from all black to bicolor, but now that i'm seeing more photos of the 825M bi color i'm starting to feel like it suits the car better.

Although this wont change no matter which wheel colour, but im forever cleaning / wiping mine. Im still in honeymoon period 3 months on and my wife thinks ive lost the plot.

I agree and have a TR with the 825 B-Colors currently in port. Hope to have pictures relatively soon!

I had a Hellrot Red E36 M3 during my late twenties. I'm 44 now and can't help but wondering if Toronto Red would be too flashy for me now. My last car was a BSM F80 M3 along side a BSM F25 X3.

Love TR and how it shows the striking design of G80, but I really don't want the "unwanted" attention (cops or parking lot vandalism).
The G80 will not be a daily driver, but still…

Should I be concerned?

Black wheels for sure.

The car is an aggressive design, the red color is an aggressive color and black is aggressive for wheels.

Plus, I just don't think those wheels look that great overall.

I've looked at a lot of pics of M3 and M4 and the black ones always just look meaner. On some colors and with some wheel designs the silver doesn't look bad and then maybe it would be a difficult decision….but this isn't one of those cases.

Tbh, i find TR a lovely mid colour. Its not too outhere like SPY and neither is it subdued like the darker shades. I find with its almost 2tone hues of Red/Orange its a nice blend.

When clean and in the sunshine it really pops and does get attention but doesnt shout for it like the brighter shades.

Im a big fan as my own is TR

I ordered TR with FR interior, and hoping I don’t regret it. But I’m in love with TR as Sunnystone mentioned, and the red interior is to die for. Black feels too boring, and white while nice is going to bring out the OCD in me.

I'm kind of in the same boat considering Toronto Red for a M3C. Quick story: when I ordered my M340i I had the same thought about Portimao Blue, is it too bright for a guy turning 40? I'm so glad I got it because I've gotten a ton of compliments on the Portimao. That said, TR is an order of magnitude brighter than Portimao and this would be my daily. YOLO or low key fewer worries...?

Toronto Red IMO strikes the perfect balance between in-your-face flashy that you'd get with SPY, and slightly too under the radar with a color like Portimao Blue. I was also thinking of getting Portimao Blue but I wanted something that stood out a bit more, but wasn't SPY because it reminds me of a highlighter

The two colors I like most is Toronto Red and Sunset Orange. I might be placing an order once I know if iDrive8 is coming in July or not. I know Sunset is a Special order though.

I was on the fence with TR as I already have a red car, so I decided to go with AR instead which is a beautiful color.
However...the more I see the TR cars the more I think it is a fantastic color. As others have stated, its not too flashy but still shows off that this is a performance car.
Also it has an orange hue in certain light which I like - as I dont have the balls to go all out orange!!
Going to get my SA to change the color on my order I think...
