When I was talking to Victor's assistant on the phone, I asked him how often they order cars in individual colors, he said they rarely do it, most cars they've sold are just off the standard colors chart, hence they are not familiar with the Chalk color. I told him I saw a lot of people ordered cars in individual colors on the forum, he said that's because it's the forum...

I told him I was originally going to order my car in Pure Metal Silver (P13), but I fear it might make the process more complex and ended up liking Chalk more. He doesn't know Pure Metal Silver either and I had to explain how special PMS is.

BTW, anybody know is there any G80/G82 in that color out in the wild yet?

Does anyone have roughly an idea of how the waitlist is moving along here (especially with the last round if allocations)? I don't think the other dealer that I have an order with got any allocations recently (weatherford)

It moves okay. I believe they maintain different lists for each variation of the car. I'm on the m3 manual list and moved up a few spaces in 3mo. Currently #2. I visited them a few weeks ago and they had a crap ton of sold g8x waiting for customer pickup (over 7) and one for sale on the lot.

I think g80 list moves a lot slower than the g82 list though

I suspect allocations will slow down a bit due to upcoming holidays. Hopefully more allocations in Jan 23.

They have two separate waiting lists for G80 RWD vs xDrive. There are at least a dozen folks in line for the xDrive.

I placed an order about 2 months ago. M3C, Eugene told me last week I’m #1 in line.

That's insanely fast. I placed an order with him late june for an m3cx and I was #15 at the time, no idea what its looking like now — do you know where you started at and also did you agree to a markup or something?

No mark up. He told me the wait for an x drive is substantially longer

Huh that's interesting. I thought allocations were either for MT or for comp that could be configured for rwd or xdrive

That’s what I thought at first as well. I wanted an x drive initially. But then Eugene stated the wait for an x drive is almost a year where as rwd comp would be half the time.

I stopped by the dealership and spoke to Eugene about 3 weeks ago, he mentioned no difference in wait time for RWD or xDrive at that time. I guess more people are ordering the xDrive now.

Looks like I'll give them a call tomorrow. I put my order in 6/12 for a base m3 and no production number

Seems like it’s taking about 3ish months for 6 speed allocations

I called and my SA (Kam) basically said Nah there is nothing for you and that allocation for M3 is a long way off. Seems weird given the others getting allocations with similar order times for base M3
