I wish these weren't dark-tinted bi-color and bright silver bi-color like the 825M. To me, it makes no sense to offer a dark bi-color and then an all black option of the 826M. Make one actually bi-color bright silver and the other bi-color dark tint or all black. I prefer the 826M design over 825M but the colors are just too dark for IOMG, IMO.

I feel the opposite. I love the dark tint and it's the reason I chose them over the 825m

I agree. I went with the 825s because I wanted a little bit more contrast and pop with the Enzian blue I'm getting. I feel like some colors, like maybe a dark gray for instance would look good with the dark tint bi-color but some colors need more contrast and pop from the wheels that a true bright by color provides.

The dark tint works with a lot of colors but I feel they should've offered dark tint and light tint instead of dark tint and all black for the 826M.

After seeing this video I have decided to go with 825 bi-color. The 826 bi-color don't seem bright enough to me against the green.

826 any day, much better looking design than the 825 imo.

I agree that light tint would maybe have covered a wider range of tastes.

In the wheels explained video they referred to the 826 M as the competition wheel. That might explain the choice they made. Competition models are historically given dark accessories as badges, grills and lips, spoilers etc. and when full black wheels aren’t available there is loud whining from many. The silver wheel crowd seem to be more mellow in voicing their disappointment.

Personally I think they got the bi-colored just right as is and if they will replace a dark options with a light a prefer they remove the full black since I never been a fan of all black.

That's a good point regarding the typical dark accents that go along with the competition models. I really prefer the 826M design but would rather have a silver wheel with IOMG. This will be a tough choice if/when I need to finalize my build
