No, didn't opt for XDrive as I just didn't think it was necessary or worth the extra money here in Phoenix.
I have zero plans to drive my car in the rain, but after owning many AWD turbo cars, I'm just happy to be back in one. To me, there's nothing like the launch and the feeling you get from it. Ordering xDrive, for me, had zero to do with weather. The weather is great, here in NorCal, as well, but that AWD launch is just a whole different experience.

So is Fiona red a pure/true red, or closer to Sakhir orange? I cannot tell from the pics…

Beautiful spec. I am usually not keen on red interior but this works so well with FG. Looking forward to watching this build progress. AUTOcouture does it right.

Yep, he wants it cleaned up a bit. I'll shoot you over an email now with more info.
Yeah! Can't wait to see how it looks with the body color on the black. I wish this were an option from the factory.

It almost seems like a mix of Coral and Fox.

Our KW V4 coilover stock just arrived. Marshall was eagerly the first recipient and for obvious reasons....look how sweet these things are! (We have a few sets on the shelf, so contact us if you are interested)

Installed under the car

Painted lower trim came back from the body shop and was installed on the car. That with the new ride height is a huge improvement over the factory setup. Just waiting on a few more bits as well as the CCB calipers to come back from paint before we wrap up this round.

Are the CCB calipers the same caliper as the steel option on the G8X now? They look the same unlike the F8X platform.

The front and rear calipers do appear to be the same, but they do have specific part numbers between ceramic and steel.

Had no idea IND would paint other car parts on request. Guess I have some BMW parts ti ship over & get quotes on. Their paint quality in bar none top notch & better then factory finish!

I think if I'm going to do the full coilover, I'm going to wait for the DDC set. But, I am looking to just get the KW HAS, because I'm tired of waiting. Tell him to get the carbon breathers.

Thats because they have different mounts because of the CCBs bigger disc diameters.

Wouldn't the caliper number still be the same and the bracket have a unique number? Unless you mean the mounting location is different on the caliper itself then that makes sense the caliper has a different number compared to steel counterpart.

Would be cool if they shared calipers and made it more affordable to convert to CCB's

We finished up the first round with full car PPF and ceramic coating. The interior got some tailored love with a custom steering wheel and upholstered shift knob.
