Official SKYSCRAPER GREY G80 M3 / G82 M4 Thread

Finally some decent photos of Skyscraper Grey. It appears to be a light, to mid shade of grey. The mid-shade, and metallic flake show off the body lines well. It seems to have good highlights and shadows. From what I have seen in photos and paint swatches, it is a very neutral grey (no blue or gold hue). I expect it to look slightly warmer in direct sun, and cooler on overcast days, as it will take on the color temperature of its environment.

Brings me back to my space gray n54 days.

Skyscraper with a red interior would be sweet.

Need to see on an M3. Wife likes it but I'm finding it a little dull. Certainly a safe choice. I'm down to Dravit vs Oxide vs Skyscraper or go crazy with something like Sepang Bronze. Or get IOMG and have her mad at me for years.

this is my situation as well... wife already doesn't like the grills and thinks IOMG over KO is too loud, even though that's still my favorite combo. Skyscraper looks decent so far but hasn't wowed me yet. I'm scared I might play it too safe and get AW again lol BSM over KO is also on the table but I'm lazy when it comes to detailing.. we'll see I guess.

to be honest, it was my choice, but I have to see it person.

The feeling that "my M3 deserve a color more spectacular" is growing on me day by day.....

Love greys but this one seems to be too much "common" and cool down the overall looking of the car.

That definitely looks better than the previous pics. Guess it's because of the lightning and probably the wheels. Looks really nice, reminds me so much of Space Gray (which I loved on my M3 E92).

I am digging this color. As JPSimon pointed out, it's got a space grey look to it. I could see this color w/ red interior/brakes looking super sharp. It might also be a good choice if you want to go with a different loud interior color choice like Yas.

Love this color. I also had space gray, but on my E90 M3. It had the competition package, with the 359 wheels. I loved the combination, and this is very similar. I agree with WWM3 - with Fiona Red and red brakes, this would look great. Someone earlier replied that it is available in the US - I hope so!

Amazing color!

Looks like the same hue as it the McLaren Mercedes from 07, 08 - really stealthy.

Looks aerospace grade.

Where did you get these pics? Looks quite good and I'm sure that's Tartufo on the inside. Would love to see the Tartufo!

Are they offering this shade of gray as one of the standard colors... ?

Just heard about the new M X-drive M3 and didn't see this on the list of new choices.

First photos/video i've been able to find of a G80 in Skyscraper Grey. The detailer stated it was Skyscraper, then reached out to the owner of the car to confirm.

Like I said in the original post, you can tell it is a fairly neutral grey that will take on the color temperature (cool or warm) depending on the environment. In the video you can see it shift as he circles the car.
