Definitely looks like it could be the parking assistance as it needs its own chip / modules from what I understand

Really hope none of us will get stuck in QC regardless…

…and then we are still faced with possible stop-sales once cars get to the port. It's going to be a stressful next month

So I can only surmise that special identification 2 has to do with the parking assist and it'll end up with a ram stop sale.

Update: Just cleared QC and now awaiting carrier assignment. Stop sale is still open.

Same here I have all similar options except for parking assistance and I don’t have the special id2 item. For those of you withe a 6mt how exactly did you add parking assistance Because it doesn’t show up on the configuration? Would have optioned it out if I had seen it

You are lucky you didnt. It seems to be the reason for my stop sale.

Anyone know how to find out what ship we're going to be on when the time comes? I assume that's sometime after Dispatched from Factory?

This ship called the Porgy leaves on the 24th. The majority of us should be on this one assuming we arrive at port in time.

Apparently Park Assist was available through the order guide but didn't show up on the configurator on BMWUSA.com - you had to ask the dealer for it (or they ask you) at time of order entry.

I didn't know about this so I have a week 47 build that doesn't have it - and, somehow, is still sitting in QC since mid-November.

ATX that makes sense. Really wish that they had asked me but stinks that yours is held up even without the option. Hoping I make it through in the next couple days. Mine is still in the paint booth
