She also picked up the acexxon rears instead of the painted with her surprise so will be putting those on soon. The front is a 30-60 min job. The rear is a bit more to get them in.

I think you’ll be happy with your choice. I should mention that I started to have second thoughts as my car got closer to arriving. Mainly because some colors look better in photos versus others, and I think SSG is one of those colors that actually look better in person.

So keep that in mind if you are questioning yourself. 😁

When I saw my car at the dealer for the first time, any concerns I had over my decision were instantly put to rest. Loving SSG!

Nope, no regrets at all. I used to have a silver ‘21 STi that I recently sold, hence the SSG move. I thought about individual colors (as there’s a lot of pics of m3/m4’s in these forums), but, ultimately stuck to SSG.

I’ve seen/test driven an IOMG with Silverstone comfort seats and an SSG with orange carbon buckets, and were I younger, I’d have gone with the buckets. I did not opt for them in my build due to limited garage space and of course getting older, but, they were nice.

The attached image is one of the cars I test drove, and mostly resembles the order I have out there, minus the orange interior. I went full black leather.

I left it to get far too dirty and thought the colour was a bit dull. A full detail and some sun and this thing pops! Anyone else get a slight hint of blue in certain light?

I’m sure I’ll be able to provide more details once my car arrives, as I didn’t have much seat time during my test drives.

I drove my STi for about 10k miles before selling it, but, have also owned a fair amount of manual Subie’s thru life (WRX Wagon, Legacy GT’s, Outback’s etc.).

A few more months till my g80 6m/t arrives.
