Remote engine is gone after latest software update

I cannot find the way to enable this… before I go to delear did anyone find the solution to it…?

My friends also have same issue that remote engine start was disabled.

I had the same issue where remote start and proximity unlock/relock wasn’t working with triple clicking the key fob/app. Then I went into the climate control settings and disabled/renabled it then it started working and did the same for proximity

Yeah, this is correct, it’s not gone, just has to be re-enabled.

New thread / old topic (applies to all BMW models with remote engine start). Possibly for safety or environmental reasons, BMW disables the feature after every software update. Select 'Menu' for the HVAC system, select 'Climate Comfort' or 'Settings', select 'Pre-Conditioning/Ventilation', and then select 'Remote Engine Start'. Click the box to re-enable.

Yup. Same thing happened to me. Just need to reenable it as others have advised.
