Well I probably would consider Porsche, but the 911 has not enough space and the Panamera is too big. They should offer something between, that would be the sweet spot.

That is exactly why I sold my 911 and landed up in an M3. Also at the time the panamera was pretty ugly as well as being too big. The M3 is a cheap fast 4 door car that people can actually track and use every day. Really I've never seen anyone track a panamera. The M3 is a great car no matter how you slice it.

Not really a fan of that approach.

interesting steering (and brakes) limited to comfort and sport...never forget the top gear on the M4 with Jeremy putting everything in "violent" mode except the steering..."comfort" (insert jezza's shit-eating grin here).

I cannot imagine how it is possible to make the front looking good. Do you guys think that the kidneys are separated, which means that body paint color is visible in the middle between the kidneys? I have the bad feeling that the kidneys are exactly like the i4 vision dynamics concept, i.e. not separated and connected in the middle area which would make a placement of the number plate there more reasonable.

Doubt it trickles down to the M3 this soon but if so I really dig it. Might help me forget how wacky the outside looks

Yeah. I overlaid the CSL grill on the latest G80 spy shot and realized this as well. It didn't look good, but I'm pretty basic when it comes to photoshopping. I love the look of the CSL and know BMW is much better at design than I am at photoshop.

Do you want to share your result here? Where are the photoshop-pro's who did the various renders in the past?

Here are two very basic overlays I did... I think the second may be more closer to what we actually get. |

That is the sport/track view and it probably will be available considering that it is just software and the M3 will use the same live cockpit setup standard. Even the leak of the M3 interior shares a similar center console setup to the M8

That is a niche, within a niche, within a niche, within a niche....probably not a big enough market for them to spend the money to develop and get any scales of economy in production...would be sweet though.

Judging from the slats and the outline we're seeing in the photos I'd say it's even bigger than that.
