Do you mean the brand or coilovers in general?

Brand, i've had similar b&g coilovers on my other car, most are made by one company in china. They were ok for an inexpensive car but i would never put anything like that on an m3.
The height adjuster rings are made out of some soft material so they wear out after constant use(i increased the height for winter and lowered in spring), the rebound knob on top rusted out after a few winters and you couldn't adjust them anymore. The springs were a bit bouncy, had to switch to eibach ones.
I switched to height adjustable koni's and after 10 years of not touching them i turned the knob and it was smooth like butter. Just stay away please, these are not made for a 100k car, they're for 10-20k cars.

I wouldnt call BC junk. I have them with Swift springs on a 6XXrwhp NSX. They are not bad at all. And are a very good street setup. Now, would i put them on a track car? No, but for spirited driving on the street or even some half mile races, yes.

You would replace the stock adjustable g80 ones with these? Are your serious? The only thing I would replace the stock ones is with some kw ddc or similar.
I assume you don't drive your nsx in the winter, if you would those coil overs wouldn't last more than a few winters.

I never said I would replace the stock adjustable shocks. You made a blanket statement about BC Racing products that I feel is incorrect. IMO, unless the OP is tracking his car the stock suspension is more than enough to do the job. Only thing to change would be springs, for most people.

Do I drive my NSX in the winter? Well, winter in TN is pretty mild So, yes, but only when its above certain temps, as I have a hard enough time hooking up down low as it is.

Oh and my current BC/Swift setup has been on my NSX for a good 5 years now.

How dare you drive an nsx in winter!

These coilovers do have their uses, just not on an m3, simple as that.

I had these on my E36 and they're some of the best bang for your buck in the entry-level coilover market. I wouldn't even think to put them on a G8X though. The factory suspension is way better than what those can offer.
