Show me your keychain

First photo is the keychain i had for year on a few cars i owned before the M3. Then i though i should get something with an M logo on it and ordered the "tool" keychain from BMW, but it feels too heavy on the key, and it being made of metal i think it'll just scratch the key in time

Why aren't more people opting for the display key? I do not necessarily find it useful but aesthetically it looks awesome.

Few years ago that would have been a no brainer for me, a must have. But these days where you have all the same functions with your phone that you carry around anyway? Why bring such a big key? Still an eye catcher at the pub though.

Few years ago that would have been a no brainer for me, a must have. But these days where you have all the same functions with your phone that you carry around anyway? Why bring such a big key? Still an eye catcher at the pub though.

This. My display key is my phone. I'm looking forward to not having to carry any key, I definitely don't want a bigger key.

It came with my G82 demo. € 374 option over here.

Am I the only one who doesn't do keychains any more? There are so many cool keychains but I want my key less bulky as it goes in my front pocket...

Same. I stopped carrying my house key when I switched to electronic locks a few years ago and I'm very close to ditching the physical car key for just my phone. Not only reducing bulk but would clear up an entire pocket.

Same; I want to carry as little stuff in my pockets as possible. My car key, a thin metal holder for my CC, license, etc. and my phone. That's it. I don't even bring my house key, I use the garage opener in my car.

Just the key. No ring or chain. In stock configuration it annoyingly pops the trunk just like my F82. I hate this.

Same. The only physical key we use now is for the mailbox at the end of the block...and it doesn't come with us regularly.

As long as your BMW has the remote start option, then you should be able to start it from the MyBmw app on your phone. You won’t be able to do this with the 6-speeds though

anyone here got the M Perf key pouch? Looking to get one to dress up the otherwise plain key but worried if it just creates unnecessary bulk?

Found this out when my trunk was open on the street for 3 hours. Thankfully somebody I know texted me to let me know.

I have it, the only complaint I have it seems to cover the panic button of the key! It doesn't make it more bulky it feels good in your hand and it protects the key if you drop it.
