They are 100% useless, and wouldn't change anyone's mind about buying one vehicle or another. They might as well put a dump truck and school bus in there vs. the M3. It wouldn't make a difference. They bang on and on in order to stretch the video to nearly 10 minutes for zero reason, other than to monetize.

They are great entertainment for teenagers, I suppose. But that's about it.

I love these videos and I'm in my thirties. It's just interesting to see the cars and how they perform.

They don't read comments and certainly couldn't care less what a "fan" thinks. YouTube is just to full of produced and scripted reality shows with trash content and trash sponsorships anymore. They won't do anything unique or different because the sheep are still enjoying the same pointless comparisons.

from what i've seen....the G8x take off in 2nd gear using LC. which just seems weird to me as...why even have a 1st gear. maybe launching in 2nd gives more repeatable results?

Launch control in the G8x RWD launch the car in second gear with the proper RPM set for traction purposes. M Xdrive G8X launch in first gear.

All the other cars were AWD, the RS6 is arguably a segment higher and is meant to be an M5 competitor... it's only natural they launched faster.

BMW needs to provide Mat with a long term loan Xdrive M3 or M4... we would see it crush most of the competition for a while since he does drag races a lot with anything.

I have to agree. Sometimes these forums make me feel like an outsider in a forum of old men yelling at clouds. "I don't like these videos. Therefore everyone that watches them are sheep as only things I like are good and proper." I realize that mentality comes with old age but man I'm really going to put a concerted effort into not to becoming that.
