I will defend my F150 Limited's honor. Great truck. Love it and won't get rid of it. It's the only Ford thing I own or want to drive. 😀

I can't stand it. Who has the time to sit through all that unnecessary drivel? These videos should be a minute or two tops.

Yup, the mustang is my most hated car ever. Maybe it's more the people behind the wheel who ruin them. From the obnoxiously V8 exhaust to the vapeing eco boost cool guys blow off valve, gross. I didn't get my M3 to be unique or special in any way but the last time I saw one similar to mine was a few months ago and that's sort of nice in a way. Today I saw 3 mustangs identical to each other at a stop light. Probably saw at least 10 total today on the street. I couldn't care less if they are faster than my BMW because at the end of the day I'm not the one driving a Ford.
Those mustangs you saw were more comparable to the dozens of other 3 series you probably also saw. a GT350 would have the same road "rarity" or greater than a new M3/4. Apples to apples at least, come on

Everyone will have a difference of opinion on the way a car looks, but the one thing we can all agree on is that BMW M sure knows how to build a motor. That G82 freaking flies.
One thing to note is how the G series seems to be able to put it's power down. Granted the power curves are different than the F series cars but i'm wondering if there is some suspension tinkering and tires that help.
What happens when you turn up the boost? Hopefully it will still put power down because that would be amazing.

I wasn't surprised at the roll races on paper it's a 250hp difference in reality it's probably more like 180hp difference. I was surprised at the drag race I was expecting the mustang to reel it in. The fact that M4 kept the lead was impressive. I would like to see the mustang roll race the M5CS

All these tests against cars making 100-200 more HP than the M4 are impressive. But if the RWD version can leave the line that cleanly just imagine that AWD version coming soon!

Ok. Sorry to me a Mustang is a Mustang is a Mustang regardless of the badge.

2020 sales:

Mustang 80,577
3 series 41,442

I also feel like there is a more noticeable difference between any 3 series and an M3 than a gt350 and any other Mustang. But I'm bias.

Its a shame the GT500 went to auto only. Ya ya, auto is faster, but if I am getting a supercharged v8 I want to be able to shift it. Also, shocked the M4 launched so well, I couldnt get my F80 to hook for the life of me.

Everyone says that, but I have zero issue hooking
up my modified F80.
305 Michelin P4S's definitely don't hurt.

There's a small but important difference between your original post saying it was started "by Ford" and what the article says "started with Ford".

Where I live (south Florida)my gt350 is much much rarer than any m2/3/4/5.
5.0 Gt are a dime a dozen.

I feel the opposite, I'll probably never buy a Mustang but I can spot a Shelby from far away, something different and more aggressive about them. Saw a GT500 recently and when he hit it, it sounded amazing, kind of an evil roar haha. M3 does look different than a 3 series due to the wide fenders, F32 on the other hand looks a lot like F82. I wonder how G42 will look like with G80/G82 style grilles.

Sorry "Engineers from Ford left ( poached by BMW )" The people who created the Fords Capri RS ( Ford Engineers ) were poached by BMW and created the BMW M brand at their new company.

Yes they didnt create Ford M and sell it to BWM to become BMW M but you know what I meant, BMW's M brand started with Ex Ford Engineers.

If we're talking about apples to apples then to compare a gt350 to an M3 does not meet that criteria.
These comparisons are silly. Comparing the old model with the new model of either to themselves would be the only relevant data I would care about. How many people are torn between a Ford and a BMW and really need the comparison? Most people are fans of one or the other. The point of the video is for the owners of either one to see weather or not these clowns think there car trumps the other.

You'd be surprised how many people went back and forth between a manual f8xx and the gt350. The interior quality of the Mustang is obviously not even in the same league but the braking/handling and that flat plane crank motor will make you think twice if you're looking for a fun track/back road car and your not just looking at brands. It's hard to say if one car trumps the other with such a short and very subjective drag race. Especially for cars that are not really for drag racing. Most people only know how to look at 0-60 and 1/4 mile numbers anyway so I guess to those people one car could "trump" the other. Lol
Im a car guy, I've owned performance Audis, bmws, Subarus and dodges. I enjoy a car for what it is, not so I can say I own a certain brand or fit in with a certain type of fanboy.
That said, I'll probably be trading in my Shelby for the g80. Don't need those two in my garage lol.
