Jaguar did you install the M perf parts yourself? Just curious how easy/difficult each of them was to install. I've watched the Studie video showing the install of all the pieces but sometimes those types of videos don't really match reality when going to do it yourself.

White and black is just too classy! I am picking up mine next wk. Manual m3. I have red interior though. I am considering these parts also. Thanks for sharing!

Yes I installed everything including the steering wheel.

-Front splitter-very easy with the exception of getting access to one 8mm bolt which is holding the stock front "fang" in place behind the fender liner. New splitter uses stock mounting points.

-Side Skirts: hard. These were very easy on f8x generation. This version you have to drill out the rivets on the stock skirt (you can pry them off as they are one time use rivets). Then pulling off the stock skirt is easy once rivets are removed. Getting the new carbon skirt inserted into the clips was pretty challenging. But using quick hard force seemed to work, then you rivet the bottom in.

-Rear skirt: extremely easy

-Canards: super easy

Good to know and thanks for a couple tips on removal/installation!

Did you have the car on a lift for the installation or did you do everything at ground level or with a standard jack?

Do they sell a M Performance replacement grille? Or a M Performance Hofmeister Kink.

On the floor, I only needed the jack for the side skirt install, and for the rear skirt as I needed to remove the rear wheels to access a bolt behind the rear fender liner

Like all of it except the canards I am not sure. I would have to see in person and maybe on a darker color. To me worth the money. Plan for me is a M3 sometime next year!

My knock with the G8X is the damn side skirts. On just about every color, it looks like a dark shadow. Sometimes the sides of the car look like they sit so far off the ground because the pieces are so black.

I was going to paint my stock skirts body color but after photoshopping it a dozen times it just ended up looking to civilized and too similar to the m440i.

The new carbon skirts are a lot lighter in color than the black so it's like a midway point and I've grown to like it now luckily!

Seriously the honeycomb grille would be a huge step up in look.
