If we are still waiting for production and residuals get better or MF gets better, are we adopting the better rates as we go along or is it only the better of the signing rates versus the rates upon delivery?

Hope that makes sense.

I'm at $950 a month including tax and that was with February's residual of 55% it's now 57% so that's probably another $50 or more a month off of that. No money down, just drive off costs. I did get a little over 9% off of MSRP though.
9% off a new model seems insane to me, seems like they're already having trouble making sales if that's the case

Well this will be my 4th car from this dealer plus I was going back and forth between them and another dealer until I got the deal I wanted. I don't think it's that crazy of deal it's just too many people are willing to just pay msrp or a little under. Just play hardball with the dealerships and you'd be surprised at what they're willing to do

uh no, that's under their cost I believe. Is there a chance you have incriminating photos of the owner of the dealer by chance?

Or did they sell you one of the yellow G80s... cause I think that will have to be sold under cost...

Ha.... Nope, none of those things. Either I'm a great negotiator or they really wanted to sell an M4. Both dealerships I went to were giving me the same deal. I decided to go with the one I had a history with.

What was the money factor? 10k/36?

So about 3.024% whereas base MF is around 2.09%. I'd have to do the math, but 10% off sticker sounds like it may have been a good compromise.

They gave you 9% and jacked up the money factor to the extreme. Mf is .00086 if I have not mistaken.

Leasing, what are you being quoted?

I have a final build price of $79,445 and am looking at a total of $7,000 down. I'm being quoted $1,059 a month with 10,000 miles/year. This seems high to me. I am curious what everyone else has been quoted.

It's only about 1 percentage point higher. Not too big of a deal, I don't think and if I want, I can get multiple security deposits and get it down under .00100

I think it was too. One percentage point really isn't that big of a deal

My build was $74,995. Just drive off money down which is about $3100 10k miles a year and I'm at $950 with tax but that was with February's residual. March's residual went up 2 points so I may be under $900 a month when it's all said and done

Roughly speaking the .00126 MF adds another $2k to the overall lease cost. So really your normalized discount is on the order of 6.5 to 7% if you assumed base MF.

That's a pretty healthy discount nonetheless.

Why not just buy it then? I’m paying $968 (purchase) w/7k down and similar percentage off.

That’s what you want to believe. Huh? Show me more than a few dealerships with allocations.

Why not ask if you can do MSD’s vice using the 7k as a down payment?

I actually considered that but really like the idea of being able to get out of it in 3 years.

The MSD's arent as good as they used to be. You used to be able to reduce the money factor by .00049. Now the most you can do is .00028.

Multiple Security Deposits. Essentially you put down money to lower the money factor on the lease and then you get that money back at the end.

My dealer seems to be sticker to 1500 off at best. I'm surprised at some of the deals I am seeing already elsewhere. 7% off seems unlikely by me in the near future.
