BMW Starts Customer Deliveries Of The i4 Three Months Earlier Than Originally Planned

I don't think so - i4 's are made in Munich and the M4's in Dingolfing. But they are using a lot of the same parts which (RAM) which is what most of us are sitting for months now waiting for!! Probably much better PR for BMW to get their EV out on the roads than a stinky ICE vehicle that's destroying the universe. |

I highly doubt they are using the same RAM. If I'm BMW and have a brand new model to launch, I'm going to make sure I design it with parts that are readily available.

It could be that those people who ordered those I4's have been waiting longer than any of us who waited for our m3/m4's.
For all we know, those people ordered their car sometime in 2020. |

I know it can't match what tesla is doing in value for performance but i kinda like the tech BMW offers. Plus it's different. We'll see what's in store soon. |

Not surprised by this at all. BMW is behind on EV's and they are going to put a tremendous amount of focus in this area.
