Went on one of my favorite longer drives and took the old D80 along. Have not taken actual photos of the most up-to-date setup. This car has seen it's fair share of parts, and I'm happy where she sits... for now.

Current modification list:

Engine/Exhaust:
Supersprint resonated single mid-pipe (J-pipe)
Armaspeed carbon fiber intake
Custom matte black OE exhaust tips

Cosmetic/Aero:
Sterckenn carbon fiber front splitter
Stradale Design carbon fiber front grills
OE carbon fiber rear diffuser
IND front painted reflectors
IND painted BMW badges F/R
IND painted rear license plate frame
Acexxon rear honeycomb reflector deletes
XXII Tuning carbon fiber front inlets
Karbel carbon fiber rear spoiler
Kies carbon fiber mirror caps
TLG front mud guards
Custom painted engine cover

Wheels/Suspension:
Volk TE37 Ultra M-Spec / Diamond Black:
(F) 20x10 +15, Michelin PS4s 285/30/20*, 10mm MS spacer
(R) 20x11 +15, Michelin PS4s 295/30/20 (N0 spec), 3mm MS spacer
Diamond Black Rays center caps
KW HAS w/updated rear springs
Custom modified front fender liners to reduce rubbing

Interior:
Evolve aluminum paddle shifters
Custom alcantara wrapped steering wheel
3D Design all-weather floor mats

What the hell?? Get out of my Google search history!! I've been searching these exact two things for the past few days. I think I'm over the buckets, too many airbag issues to code out. If I do anything, I'll source some OEM buckets in Ivory White. Would look good with the rest of the interior being black.

The full coilovers are still on the list. Im looking at the V4, but, I like my electronic adjustability. But, since I emailed KW, and they told me that there were no word of any G80 DDC on the map, for development, that there is no other choice. Moton one ways are also raising an eyebrow.

I'm with ya - not sure how much work would be involved once the rails, sliders and buckets are installed. Haven't seen too many G8x cars with aftermarket seats so far. I'd be happy with some basic Recaro Pole Positions, or maybe some Recaro Sportsters refinished in Yas leather.

KW V4s would be just right. I had V3s on my old S2000 way back, and they were fantastic. I think I could be ok with not having on-the-fly adjustability.

EDC is overrated. I like my dampers set to fast + comfortable, always - the common misconception is that these two are mutually exclusive when they don’t have to be (given the correct setup)

And I can see that.. I remember with my last V3s, I spent a good amount of time dialing them in, but once I got it nailed, I never fiddled with them again. Was a great setup for daily driving AND spirited drives.
