Hi,
I am struggling to find any photos of the aftermarket grills with the Adaptive Cruise Control module installed. I know vorsteiner/Kies/etc… option a version of their grills with the ACC accommodation, but even they don’t have photos on their websites that I can find.

Does anyone have a photo of an aftermarket CSL/GT/other type grill with the ACC unit installed?

You could possibly find some pictures of those grills with ACC on this instagram page @G8XSOCIETY. I haven't taken delivery of my M3 yet, but browsing pictures on instagram helped me figure out what grill I wanted.

All are beautiful, but I personally like the GT Style Grille over CSL, Vorsteiner etc. The one issue I had with the GT grill appearance wise was that pretty much every company selling it had the ACC grill with a big opening in that area on both sides. Luckily, came across a reputable company @Bayoptiks who can precisely cut around the ACC so theres not a big opening so going with them. Attached some pictures from there website.

Stradale Design grills with ACC.

Some angles are better than others, but honestly forget it's there most of the time.

Not sure if they make the grill or order from elsewhere. From what I've seen on there Instagram page @bayoptiks has a great reputation. Still waiting on my M3 to arrive so wouldn't be tell you how fitment was from personal experience. Attached some photos they have on there website though, you could find some more on there Instagram as well.

Hi all. I'm resurrecting an old thread as I didn't find my answer in the forum search.

I have a Vornsteiner black ABS grill that I will be putting on my M3 (with ACC). I cut and shaped some mesh backing for each of the openings in the grill but am not sure what to do with the ACC sensor and I haven't seen this spelled out anywhere.

In Vornsteiner's install video, it does appear that there is mesh in all four openings, but since they skipped over that part, I don't know if they unplugged that sensor and cut a small hole in the lower right opening mesh or just cut fully around the sensor so that the whole thing would slide through...

Does anyone out there happen to know the best approach? I plan to do the install this weekend or next.

Also, I've been lurking for several months since I ordered my G80 in March and took delivery in June. Happy to be a member of the board and really appreciate all of the great information everyone has provided.
